If you want to request that your Assumptions account and associated data be deleted, follow the steps below. This page applies to the Assumptions app (by Banked Embers) as shown on the Google Play store.

Steps to request account and data deletion

Option A: Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Assumptions app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings (gear or menu).
  3. Scroll to Delete Account and tap it.
  4. Confirm in the dialog. Your account and profile are deleted immediately. We also delete or anonymize your linked data (debate results, conversation history, challenge progress) where feasible, within the retention period below.

Option B: Request by email (if you can’t use the app)

If you’ve already uninstalled the app or can’t open it, you can request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to help@bankedembers.com with the subject Delete my Assumptions account.
  2. Include the email address you use to sign in to Assumptions so we can find your account.
  3. We will verify your identity and process the request. We’ll confirm once deletion is complete or if we need more information.
